I’m super impressed with this bike trunk bag.
It’s maybe 2-3 times larger than your typical lunch bag, which is nice, but it’s overly large where you might overstuff it and things could get heavy.
I especially love the hardshell on the outside. It feels tough and shouldn’t break, even if you dropped it from the roof of a tall building, I’d imagine it’ll still stay intact, maybe a bump and bruise, scratches, but still intact. I also like how the inside of the bag is lined with waterproof material and shouldn’t seep through. If you happen to spill something inside, it’ll probably stay inside, or more importantly it’ll keep things dry inside.
This bike trunk bag set also came with a phone holder. The phone holder fits my One Plus 12R perfectly, and the see-through plastic was responsive to my touch allowing me to still use my phone while protected from its enclosure! The phone holder comes with a couple of straps to secure it to your bike or the trunk, but honestly I haven’t tried it and aren’t sure if I try and mount it that way, but it’s nice to have nonetheless.
It does come with rainfly cover too, which is nice. It’s bright neon-green making it easy to see which I think the logo being high-reflective.
An interesting feature to this trunk bag is that you can zip open the side pockets all-the-way, let the inside pocket plop down and out, and that pocket which has additional zippers now serves as a side bike pannier bag. Wow. So if you only need something small, just place it into the side pocket normally. But if you got something longer and larger, zip it open all the way and use the internal pocket as a pannier bag.
There’s a couple of other interesting features too, like of course a bottle holder, flexible wire bands on top to store maybe a helmet or other goodies, a solid handle, but I think the I covered the most important features already.
Overall, this bike trunk bag presents itself with tremendous value, a great price for a hardshell water proof bag, versatility in storage with the side pannier bag option, and the phone and rainfly protection. This trunk is terrific for what it brings and I’m all for it and highly recommend it.

When opening the box, I found the bicycle bag was shipped inside of a thick plastic bag. In unzippering the bag, I found a shoulder strap and a yellow water-resistant cover for the large bag which would provide additional protection during wet, inclement weather. This cover would fit over the large bag, as it has an elastic band running along the bottom of it.
There was also a very large cell phone sized bag with a clear front and a larger storage space. Inside of that bag were four Velcro straps, which could be used to strap a cell phone to the bike’s handlebars or even to securely attach it to your arm.
The shoulder strap is adjustable and attaches to the front of the bag, which also has a carabiner that you can attach the strap to. This strap makes the bag portable, so you can throw it on your shoulder and take it with you to where it is that you’re going once you lock up your bike and walk somewhere.
When opening it up, it has the new fabric smell that eventually dissipates after you leave it open for a couple of hours or so. There’s a couple of those small freshness packets in there as well.
The inside of the bag is 35 liters, lined with the same material as the water-resistant bag cover, only colored light green. It’s very spacious, as the top of the bag measures about six by twelve inches on top with a depth of seven inches. It can fit almost anything you can think of as a result.
The bike trunk bag is listed in the item description as having four layers of insulation. It also states that it has thick padding to absorb shocks while biking, keeping your stuff secure inside the bag. I definitely felt the thick padding inside of it as I was testing it out.
The top lid of the bag is hard and firm. There are two zippers holds it securely in place while riding. The zippers have elastic pull tabs on them with a hard plastic nub at the end. There is an elastic band strung on top of it with a plastic clasp to secure objects to the top of it. When you open another zipper, the top is also expandable to give you another three inches.
It features two handles that strap together with Velcro to form one larger carry handle, depending on what your needs are.
The bag itself will strap securely to the back your bicycle with the two Velcro straps on the front, as well as two longer Velcro straps underneath it. There is also a deep pocket so you can insert the bike rack into and then Velcro it to the rack so it stays secure.
There’s also an expandable pocket on the back for a water bottle. I was able to place the entirety of my hand inside it. I tested it with a 40-liter bottle and it fit in there easily. Then there are two small straps as well as a drawstring and a push-button clasp to cinch it closed tight.
On each side of the bag, there are two panniers with a hard shell on them, with two zippers holding them closed. These side compartments unfold to twice their size. They are Velcroed securely to the inside flap of the bag as they hang out, so they don’t flop around as much while you are moving. They are over twelve inches deep once unfolded and look like saddlebags on a horse in that position.
The exterior of the trunk bag also has white reflective stripes on the sides and back.
After using this for a week or so on my bicycle, I found that it was able to withstand the rigors of use very well when utilizing it.
I tested it out by putting some Tupperware with hot food inside the bag and sealing it shut. After thirty minutes, the food remained very warm when I removed it.
I can see this being really good for using on a bike ride to a picnic that you’re planning. Or a hungry college student grabbing some hot food to bring to transport to their dorm and keep it warm while doing it.
Overall, this is a versatile and durable bike trunk bag with a lot of different options for carrying stuff, as well as transporting hot or cold items.

I ride my e-bike almost to the exclusion of my car and I’m always on the lookout for large-capacity bags that are worth the money and I found one here. The first picture shows my current setup: a large basket attached to the bike with bungee cords, zip ties, and an extra lock. The second picture shows my new and improved setup; ON e of the things I liked about the basket was it’s size and the fact that I could just toss stuff in it. While I may not be able to do that, the new trunk is about 2/3 the size of the basket but with the panniers expanded, and with the extra height I can add to the trunk by opening a zipper, it will hold more. The inside lining will help keep cold items cold during the short trip home.
The one thing I don’t like about it is how far back on the rack it sits; makes it hard to see the rear light. I thought that might be a function of the under-seat tool bag but even if that was gone, it still wouldn’t fit very far underneath and it would make it difficult to open the top all the way. I DO appreciate, however, the two straps on the front that I’ve used to keep the trunk from sliding backwards. Considering how much one decent large-capacity pannier can cost, this is actually a decent price, especially with how much room it has plus the fact that people can’t see what, if anything, you’ve got inside. I’m very pleased with it and it looks great on my bike!
